Built in 1888 as a showcase house for McKenna’s Brewery, the Marble Arch is famous for its sloping mosaic floor and extensive tiled walls. The Grade II listed interior gives a strong sense of late Victorian prosperity and brewery pride. Even on a crawl it is worth pausing to take in the details and perhaps sample one of the brewery’s own beers.
